Carousel Comes to Baldwin Wallace This Fall

Baldwin Wallace's Conservatory of Performing Arts is bringing Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel to the stage this fall, as a concert presentation September 18-20, 2026 at Gamble Auditorium.

Directed and conducted by Richard Biever, choreographed by Greg Daniels. "This concert presentation invites audiences to experience a rigorous and timely examination of a cornerstone of the American musical theatre canon," Biever said.

"It's a musically rich, transparent look at the story's complexities, including cycles of poverty, generational trauma, and resilience."

The cast draws from BW's music theatre, vocal performance, and music education programs, backed by a full orchestra with members of the BW Symphony, bringing out the Puccini-influenced score that's one of the richest in musical theatre history.
